All our statues are elegantly handcrafted, weather resistant and built to last but it's important that you also take some steps to care for and maintain your statues so that they will continue looking beautiful for years to come! Here are some tips and tricks to care for your statues this winter...
Outdoor Wear
Natural weathering of stone ornaments can give them a nicely aged look, however you can reduce how quickly your statue ages by applying a clear concrete sealant to your product (these are widely available from all hardware stores).
When cleaning an ornament such as our new COM34 Pixie Gardener, you should only use a mild dish soap and water with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. DO NOT clean your product with strong force or use abrasive tools as this can damage the statue's finish.

Bring a touch of magic and personality to your outdoor space with this charming Medium Stonecast Pixie Gardener Statue. Beautifully crafted with delightful detail, this cheerful pixie stands in a relaxed pose, leaning casually on his spade with one foot resting on the blade as if taking a happy break from his garden work. His warm smile and playful expression will instantly brighten any corner of the garden.
Birdbath Care
All birdbath bowls are sealed prior to delivery but in order to keep your birdbath in the best condition possible, please reapply water sealant annually.
Our birdbaths come in two pieces, however we recommend not fixing the top and the base together permanently as this can create future difficulties with transportation and emptying the bowl.
Discover our collection of birdbaths on our website today such as our newly released BB64 English Oak BB!

Bring timeless charm to your garden with the English Oak Design Stone Cast Bird Bath. Expertly crafted to combine classic elegance with inspirations from nature, this bird bath attracts feathered visitors while enhancing the beauty of your outdoor space. Durable and weather-resistant, this bird bath is both a functional feeding station and a stunning decorative feature for nature lovers.
Items that hold water, such as birdbaths and fountains should be drained of water before outdoor temperatures drop below freezing. If water remains in the statue and freezes, it can expand and cause damage.

Cold weather care
We would recommend storing dyed and coloured statues in a covered area during cold weather. It is advised to take all portable statues indoors during extremely inclement weather or freezing temperatures. Do not allow statues to sit in pools of freezing water.
Safety
A final point to note, we recommend that all tall statues be secured to permanent structures for safety reasons.
